Randy Forest
NMLS #3703Randy graduated from Northern State University in Aberdeen, South Dakota, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business in 1974. He got married in the same year and has three children and three grandchildren.
Randy started his career in mortgage lending in 1975 with a large corporation. His promotions within the corporation involved many transfers within South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, and Missouri. In 1999, after 24 years in the corporate world, Randy and his longtime friend Steve Hanson (now retired) decided to start their own mortgage company under the name of Security 1 Mortgage, Inc. In 2009, Security 1 Mortgage, Inc. merged with Finance 1, LLC.
Finance 1 is a member of the Omaha Chamber of Commerce and the Better Business Bureau. Randy is a member of St. Columbkille Catholic Church, past President and active Board Member for the Nebraska Association of Mortgage Brokers. He has also served on committees with the National Association of Mortgage Brokers, as well as served as a Board of Director for both Kiwanis and the Salvation Army. He has received the Lending Integrity Seal of Approval through the National Association of Mortgage Brokers.
Randy enjoys spending time with his children and grandchildren, reading, bird watching, and working in the yard. He also enjoys most spectator sports.
